We are a business with primarily social objectives and purpose, any profit generated is reinvested into the community and used to grow and develop the business.

The key aims of Fullcircle are to:

• Inspire and empower people to be actively involved in issues that affect their community;

• Provide innovative and responsive effective services which reflect the needs of the community;

• Provide young people with the best opportunities to achieve their full potential.

Our Journey

2011 – Founded

21st April 2011 marked the birth of Fullcircle nw CIC, founded by three passionate Oldham-born youth workers committed to making a positive impact on their community. Amidst a backdrop of government changes and funding cuts, young people and their families faced increasing challenges. Recognising this need, Fullcircle was founded and provided support and opportunities to those most vulnerable.

2012 - First Youth Club

2012 marked a significant milestone for Fullcircle as we were commissioned to launch our first Junior and Senior Youth Clubs. These vibrant spaces offered young people a safe space to socialise, explore new interests, and develop essential life skills.

2013 – Awards

2013 was a year of remarkable achievements for Fullcircle nw CIC.

We became a validated learning destination for the Children's University, offering unique informal educational opportunities to young people.

Action Together recognised our commitment to high quality and excellence by awarding us with the Quality in Action Award. The Quality in Action Award (QiAA) is a recognised framework for voluntary, community, faith and social enterprise (VCFSE) organisations working across Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside to demonstrate their commitment to high quality practice.

Our after-school club at a local primary school was awarded the Gold Award by the Woodland Trust Green Tree School, highlighting our dedication to environmental education and sustainability.

2015 – Making Chadderton our home

2015 marked a significant turning point for Fullcircle as we established our ‘headquarters’ in Chadderton. Firstly, we actively listened to the needs and aspirations of the young people we served, we collaborated with partners to secure a substantial £160,000 investment. This funding enabled us to create a state-of-the-art wheeled facility in Coalshaw Green Park, providing a safe and exciting space for young people to engage in outdoor activities and sports.

Next, In a collaborative effort with Yew Tree Community Primary School and Local Councillors, Fullcircle nw CIC successfully prevented the closure of the old Youth Centre. Since then, we have continued to offer a wide range of youth activities from this vital community hub, ensuring that young people have access to safe, engaging, and enriching experiences.

2017 – Our Holiday club was Launched

Next, In a collaborative effort with Yew Tree Community Primary School and Local Councillors, Fullcircle nw CIC successfully secured a community building. Since then, we have continued to offer a wide range of youth activities from this vital community hub, ensuring that young people have access to safe, engaging, and enriching experiences.

2020 - High Sherrif Special Recognition Award

2020 was a challenging year for everyone, but Fullcircle remained committed to supporting young people and their families. In recognition of our innovative approach to providing support during the COVID-19 pandemic, we were honored to receive the High Sheriff's Special Recognition Award from Dr. Eamon O'Neill DL. This prestigious award celebrated our dedication to the community and our ability to adapt and deliver vital services, even in the face of unprecedented circumstances.

2024 – Reaching Communities

2024 has brought exciting news for Fullcircle! We are thrilled to have been awarded a significant grant from the Reaching Communities Fund at The National Lottery. This generous funding will enable us to expand our work in Chadderton, providing high-quality youth provision that is directly shaped by the voices and needs of young people. We are excited to embark on this new chapter and create even more opportunities for young people in the community.
